We are approaching the year 2012 a lot of you here kwnowing about the mayan calender which should end in this year and with it the human life.
There are some theories about what could happen at the 21of december .The most interesting is the super sunstormtheorie which is supported by scientist.I don´t wont to go deeper into the details of the Mayan calender prophesie,everybody can search for his own the web is full of 2012 themes and curiously there is a hollywoodfilm called like that.Let us see what quran and hadith say about it:There is no need to quote about when the worldend is coming because everybody knows that only Allah(s.t)has knowledge of that day but what about predictions made by people.
In Surat An-Naml:65 Allah allmighty says:

Say, "None in the heavens and earth knows the unseen except Allah , and they do not perceive when they will be resurrected."
And the Prophet says about the Hour and Astrology this:

Ali ibn Abi Talib said, "The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم led us in praying Salat al-Fajr (the morning prayer). After he finished, a man called to him: 'When will the Hour be? The Prophet reprimanded him and said 'Be quiet!'. After a while he raised his eyes to the sky and said, 'Glorified be the One Who raised it and is taking care of it.' Then he lowered his gaze to the earth and said, 'Glory be to the One Who has outspread it and has created it (meaning Glory to Allah).' Then the Prophet said, 'Where is the one who asked me about the Hour?' The man knelt down and said, 'I asked you.' The Prophet said, 'The Hour will come when leaders are oppressors, when people believe in the stars and reject Al-Qadar (the Divine Decree of destiny) when a trust becomes a way of making a profit, when people give to Sadaqah (charity or alms) reluctantly, when adultery becomes widespread - when this happens, then your people will perish.'"

So we get to know that it is a sin in beliving in predictions made by astrology and by person other than prophets.
Some belive that something big will happen in 2012,an economiccrash or WW3 just because of this propaganda.And now we know that it is hoax ,so why they spread this message ofcorse fear is one reason another reason you can read above but maybe there is something hidden behind it.
The prophet says that dajjals proclaim kingship,prophethood and then he call himself God.
For me the kingship was begining with Industrialisation and with it the warmachinery and which causes wars around the world by imperialistic movements.Prophethood ,as a prophet you have to bring a message,that happend after the colonies were left into independency and they haved to join the U.N and to obey the charta which is the message.And now we came to 2012 which was introduced very long before the milleniumhoax ,a prediction of the worldend at an exact date is only possible for the Creator and this is for me the proclaiming of Dajjal to be God.
